Central Equatoria leadership reshuffle announced
Central Equatoria State Governor Emmanuel Adil has relieved and appointed several senior officials in the state administration, in changes announced this morning (Eye Radio).
State authorities presented the decisions as a reset in top management, with appointments and reconstitutions intended to guide a fresh direction for the administration (Eye Radio).
Officials relieved from key state positions
Seven officials were relieved of their duties, according to the announcement. Those named include Taban Clement Oliver, Deputy Secretary General, and Michael Roberto Kenyi, Chairperson of the State Independent Commission Vision 2040 (Eye Radio).
Also relieved were Ugo Aurelious Chichim, Technical Advisor at the State Ministry of Information and Communication, and Sebit Emmanuel Lujang, Executive Director of the State Revenue Authority (Eye Radio).
The list further included Jacob Pitiya Emilian, Executive Director of the State Insurance Regulatory Authority; Albino Kulang Stephen, Member of the same authority; and Mawa Rufas Sosthenes, Acting Director of Revenue for Yei Zone in Yei River County (Eye Radio).
New appointments to revenue, mining and advisory roles
Alongside the departures, the governor appointed three officials to new positions. Dada Issac Lemi was named Technical Advisor to the Juba City Council (Eye Radio).
Chandiga Michael Martin was appointed Director of Revenue for Yei Zone in Yei River County. James Bond Michael was named Executive Director of the State Mining Authority (Eye Radio).
State Independent Commissions reconstituted
Governor Adil also reconstituted the leadership of State Independent Commissions, naming new Executive Directors across several oversight bodies (Eye Radio).
Christopher Lado Salvatore was appointed for the State Employee Justice Chamber, Lado Gubek Nyombe for the State HIV/AIDS Commission, and Mathew Abujin Enoka for the State Relief and Rehabilitation Commission (Eye Radio).
Felix Amule Sosthene was named to lead the State Human Rights Commission. Peter Wani Emmanuel was appointed to head the State Conflict Resolution and Reconciliation Commission, while Rufus Juka Samuel was named Executive Director of the State Anti-Corruption Commission (Eye Radio).
Revenue, investment and planning bodies get new heads
Elly Bidali Alex Duku was appointed to take charge of the State Revenue Authority. Sebit Emmanuel Lujang was named to lead the State Investment Authority, and Albino Kulang Stephen was appointed again to the State Insurance Regulatory Authority (Eye Radio).
Other appointments included Gabriel Soroba for the Juba Special Economic Zone and Mawa Peter Ezbon for the State Commission Vision 2040. Alfred Lomoro Edward was named head of the State Land Commission, while Dwoki Moses Ismail was appointed to lead the State Pension Fund Authority (Eye Radio).
Governor’s message on continuity and performance
Governor Emmanuel Adil thanked the outgoing officials for their service, according to the statement. He also wished the newly appointed leaders success as they assume their duties (Eye Radio).
The governor signalled that the administrative changes are aimed at sharpening performance, with public messaging emphasising efficiency and accountability in state institutions (Eye Radio).
